The Heart Returns Home
Neural Syntax. Composed and arranged by Luigi Pascal Rondanini.
A symphonic poem for full orchestra. 111 bars, 6/8, D major, about four minutes. It is the second work written in AMORA/7, the musical language in which notes stand for words, after The Reply.
Two voices hold a conversation, the flute and the cellos, and between them they use all fifty-six words of the language. One waits in the dark; the other answers. At the end they speak together.
Can you hear me? · Yes. · Someone will come. · Because the heart always returns home. · We will find ourselves again, with love. Now and forever.
Every sentence is written into the notes, rests included, and can be read back from the score with the free decoder.
